The pupils were particularly surprised by the size of the mixers, the plates and hygiene rules, which meant they had to wear the traditional \u2018charlotte\u2019 hair covering, overshoes and disposable overalls.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"750\" height=\"500\" src=\"https:\/\/dstoulouse.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/dst_kantine2.jpg\" alt=\"Deutsche Schule Toulouse, Besuch der Schulkantine\" class=\"wp-image-12177\" srcset=\"https:\/\/dstoulouse.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/dst_kantine2.jpg 750w, https:\/\/dstoulouse.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/dst_kantine2-300x200.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 750px) 100vw, 750px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>The visits to the cold room at -18\u00b0C and the bin storage area were particularly memorable &#8211; everyone was shocked at the quantity of organic waste thrown away each day!
