Their dedication paid off, as they won multiple prizes for their innovative projects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Since the beginning of the year, the girls have been working in two teams on groundbreaking chemistry projects. Frida, Elisabeth, and Thea set out to create edible packaging from flour, oil, and water\u2014an eco-friendly alternative to plastic. Meanwhile, Paula developed a sustainable ink using curry, ethanol, onions, and red cabbage as a potential replacement for conventional printer ink.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In February, both teams traveled to Salach, Baden-W\u00fcrttemberg, to compete in the regional championship. Their efforts impressed the jury: Paula won first place and a special award for eco-friendly resources, securing her spot in the state championship. Frida, Elisabeth, and Thea also achieved great success, earning second place.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
