Sea Turtle Rescue in Nicaragua – A Conversation With Fabien Cousteau

The students in the 6th-grade “native French speakers” group had the amazing opportunity to speak to Fabien Cousteau, grandson of French ocean explorer Jacques-Yves Cousteau, about his sea turtle rescue project. During this live video conference, organised as part of the ethics class under the “Meeting Abroad” theme, the students watched as the team buried the 100,000th sea turtle egg and discovered how freshly hatched turtles were released back into the sea.
