OPAL Gold accreditation award

The German School of Toulouse and the International School of Toulouse have been awarded OPAL (Outdoor Play and Learning) gold accreditation. This distinction, held by only five other international schools in the world, rewards the OPAL teaching methods used in our primary school.

OPAL enables free play without relying on ‘traditional’ toys during break times. On the Eurocampus, children use materials such as saucepans or suitcases, for example, which allow them more freedom of expression and creativity. Children who use OPAL are more receptive in class and there are fewer conflicts between them, as they create their own rules of play.
