The Colomiers CMJ Election: One Is Never Too Young for Democracy!
Some of our students had their first hands-on experience with democracy by taking part in this year’s CMJ election in Colomiers.
The Conseil Municipal des Jeunes (CMJ) has existed in Colomiers since 1996 andis made up of 16 young residents aged 11 to 14, who represent the voices of the city’s youth.
A total of 13 students from the German School Toulouse, all residents of Colomiers, accompanied by their teachers, made their way to the town hall to cast their votes.

The CMJ election is a fantastic opportunity for young people in Colomiers to engage with the democratic process and have a say in shaping their future.
