To the market with one Euro
At the beginning of June, two classes of the DST went on a trip. The first classes visited the market in Pibrac and the second classes had a walking day.
The first graders set out with one euro in their pockets. On this day, they wanted to find out what one euro can buy.
First they walked to Pibrac. There, the children were divided into five small groups and walked through the market accompanied by their teachers and parents. They bought small rolls, melons, apricots, cherries, sausages and even plants. Of course, one or the other market stall also gave a little more.
Afterwards, the “achievements” were eaten at a joint picnic.
The children of grade 2 also had a lot of fun on their hiking day. They hiked to the playground in Pibrac and had a picnic there. At the end, there was even an ice cream for all the children.
We are grateful that finally some normality has returned and that we can at least still go on small excursions. A big thank you also goes to the parents who supported us on this day.
