A Choir Day With Children From Four Schools

During the Choir Day, children from the Deutsche Schule Toulouse, the International School of Toulouse, the International School of Lyon and Kaleidoscope Toulouse came together for a day of singing and shared experiences.
After a joint warm-up session, each school shared a song with the group. The day was about listening to one another, discovering different voices and musical styles, and meeting new people. The shared picnic afterwards provided plenty of opportunities for conversation and exchange. It quickly became clear how naturally music brings people together: even without speaking the same language, the children connected with ease.
In the afternoon, all participants rehearsed a new song together, “The Power of My Voice”. With concentration and clear enthusiasm, the children worked towards the final event of the day. The concluding concert highlighted what made the Choir Day so special: many voices, different backgrounds and one shared result.
To round off the day, a joint Easter egg hunt provided a cheerful ending. The Choir Day will remain a memorable musical and community experience that went far beyond singing alone.
